Kaori Yoshida

Kaori joined the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in the fall of 2006. Previously she was a section first violinist with the Honolulu Symphony. She has performed and toured with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, American Symphony Orchestra, New Haven Symphony Orchestra and the New York Symphonic Ensemble, with whom she has appeared as a soloist in major cities in Japan.

Giyeon Yoon

Violinist Giyeon Yoon joins the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in 2019 having previously served as a violinist at the National Symphony Orchestra for their 2018/19 season.

Bruce Wittrig

After playing the cello for a year as a child, Bruce Wittrig began serious musical study with viola lessons at age 12. At 19, he turned to violin. In addition to his symphony duties, Wittrig enjoys chamber music and serves as Music Director at his church, Bethany Presbyterian in Uptown.

Daphne Volle

Violinist Daphné Volle joined the DSO in 1996. Previously she was a member of the Fort-Worth Symphony. Since the age of 17, Volle has played professionally with such orchestras as the Lyon Symphony, Orchestre of Saône et Loire, the French Camerata and the National Orchestra of France.

Andrew Schast

Andrew Schast began his musical training at the Settlement Music School in Philadelphia, and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Juilliard School. While in New York, he was an active member in Juilliard’s quartet program, and performed at Alice Tully Hall and WQXR-FM as a member of the Guinness Quartet.

Jenna Barghouti

Violinist Jenna Barghouti joins the Dallas Symphony after four seasons with the Houston Symphony. Barghouti earned her undergraduate degree in violin performance from Indiana University with Professor Mimi Zweig.

Lucas Aleman

A native of Spain, Lucas Aleman has performed across the United States and Europe to critical claim. Often praised for his luscious sound and charisma with the audience, Aleman has a true understanding of the different period composers, and has enjoyed a versatile career playing solo and chamber music.

Filip Fenrych

Born in Poland, violinist Filip Fenrych joined the Dallas Symphony in 2008. Prior to joining the DSO, he served as an Assistant Concertmaster in the San Antonio Symphony.

Eunice Keem

Violinist Eunice Keem has established herself as a dynamic and engaging artist, equally compelling as both soloist and chamber musician. A Chicago native, she attended Carnegie Mellon University for her music studies.

Maria Schleuning

MARIA SCHLEUNING, violinist, has been a member of the Voices of Change Modern Music Ensemble since 1996 and Artistic Director since 2009. An advocate of new music, she has worked with many of the leading composers of our day, including the legendary Witold Lutoslawski, George Crumb, Aaron Kernis, John Corigliano, Augusta Read Thomas, Sebastian Currier, Bright Sheng, Samuel Adler, Donald Erb, David Dzubay, and Pierre Jalbert.
