Siphokazi Molteno

A 2023 alumna of the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, South African mezzo-soprano Siphokazi Molteno made her mainstage Met debut in the 2022–23 season as Flora in La traviata, followed by Soeur Mathilde in Dialogues des Carmélites. Siphokazi debuted as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Opera Saratoga in summer 2022, and on the concert stage she was heard as soloist in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with Camerata Notturna, Haydn’s Theresienmesse and Mozart’s Sparrow Mass with the New Choral Society, Haydn’s Missa Sancti Nicolai and Mozart’s Coronation Mass with St. George’s Cathedral Cape Town, and Verdi’s Requiem with Dar Choral Society in Tanzania. Upcoming, she makes her European debut with Copenhagen’s Royal Danish Opera in Don Giovanni’s Inferno, a new opera by Simon Steen Andersen. Future engagements include debuts with the Dallas Opera and Teatro Regio di Torino.

In the 2023/24 season, Mr. Garrett will make a house debut at San Francisco Opera, singing Abdul and Abe in Omar, return to LA Opera as Bob in William Grant Still’s Highway 1, USA and sing Masetto in Don Giovanni in a return to Houston Grand Opera. In concert, he will sing Carmina Burana with Orchestra of St. Luke’s at Carnegie Hall.

Carmen Bradford

It was only natural that Bradford would follow in the footsteps of her great family legacy, as the daughter of legendary trumpeter/ composer Bobby Bradford and world-renowned vocalist/composer Melba Joyce. Her grandfather Melvin Moore sang with Lucky Millender and Dizzy Gillespie’s Big Band in the 1940s and sang with the Ink Spots, making Bradford the third generation of incredible musicians.
