Celebrate Diversity Month takes place in April every year. It was initiated in 2004 to recognize and honor the beauty of our diverse cultures, backgrounds, and traditions.

November is National Native American Heritage Month. During this month, we take the opportunity to celebrate the history, heritage, traditions, and invaluable contributions of Indigenous people to our country, including Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and affiliated Island communities.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month 2023

National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is held each October to commemorate the invaluable contributions of people with disabilities to our country’s workplaces and economy. The theme of NDEAM 2023 is “Advancing Access and Equity” and reflects the importance of ensuring people with disabilities have equal opportunity to prepare for and succeed in employment.

Spring Tour 2023

This March the DSO is headed to the East Coast with a three date tour at Carnegie Hall, Boston Symphony Hall and Woolsey Hall at Yale University. These performances will mark the first appearance of the Orchestra with Music Director Fabio Luisi on the East Coast.
